BACKGROUND AND TRAINING
I have spent years training and developing my skills in both academic and healthcare settings. My range of experiences opened doors to valuable practice with evidence based behavioural approaches, and the ability to work with a wide range of problems. As a social scientist, I am dedicated to help people live healthier and meaningful lives.
Specialising in the field of health psychology equipped me with the expertise to structure human behaviour from a biopsychosocial perspective and gave the right to apply professional and practical skills into practice. I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and working with issues including chronic pain, depression, body image, eating disorders, sleep problems as well as daily stressors of everyday life.
I provide psychotherapy to people all over the world via telehealth while seeing clients as part of Hackney Therapy Centre community in East London. I am a National Editor of European Health Psychology Blog, which keeps me up with the current scientific literature.
