BACKGROUND AND TRAINING
I am committed to helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to continuous learning and development in both academic and healthcare settings. Currently pursuing a doctorate in Health Psychology and working in private practice, I integrate the latest research with compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic practice.
My journey has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences, equipping me with the skills to support individuals facing a variety of challenges, from chronic pain and eating disorders to body image concerns and everyday stress. I’m trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), which I use to help clients navigate life’s complexities while staying true to their values.
My passion for blending research and practice drives my dedication to provide support that is both compassionate and scientifically grounded. My published paper (Ozbek et al.,2023), reflects my desire to advancing our understanding of human behavior through rigorous research. By integrating evidence-based insights into my practice, I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I am a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science (ACBS) and British Psychological Society (BPS) and my work is regulated by its laws, values and regulations.
